It seems that powerhouses saved their main weapons for the Pool Stage as not many of their players found themselves at the very top of individual statistics in the Qualifications for the 2018 CEV Men’s Volleyball Champions League.

For example, there are no players from the teams that secured a Pool Stage in the Top 5 best scorers while, surprisingly, two players from the Belarusian side Shakhtior Soligorsk are there.

Only Ivan Zaytsev from Sir Safety Conad Perugia and Jurii Gladyr from Fenerbahçe İstanbul fixed the impression for the big clubs in the Qualifications by being the 1st and the 4th, respectively, on the Top 5 best servers list…
