Zenit Kazan vs. BR Volleys
Lube Civitanova, Sada Cruzeiro, Shanghai, Personal Bolivar and PGE Skra Belchatow didn’t manage to win a set against the Russian side, but BR Volleys did it!
The German team somehow took the set from the reigning champions, extending the game to four sets. However, BR Volleys couldn’t do anything more to stop the Russian powerhouse 3-1 (25-20, 25-19, 25-27, 25-22).
Maxim Mikhailov (22 points) and Wilfredo Leon (20 points) were the top scorers in Zenit Kazan, while on the other side Paul Carrol and Steven Marshall had 13 points each.
