Today, the Romanian team defeated Developres SkyRes Rzeszow in four sets (25-15, 25-16, 20-25, 25-12) and stayed undefeated in their pool with 14 points.
In the last match of the pool stage, Alba will play against Volero. For a team of coach Darko Zakoč that match will be without special meaning while Volero will try to come to the victory and eventually move to the next stage of the competition.
Ana Yillian Cleger Abel top scored with 29 points to cement her position as the most prolific player in the pool stage of the CEV Volleyball Champions League. Adina Salaoru scored 12 points. During the match, Alba scored 14 aces.
In the opponent’s team, Adela Helić was the most productive with 11 points.
