Lokomotiv
Unlike the first two matches in series held in Kharkiv (both ended 3-0 in favor of Lokomotiv), as hosts, Dnipro gave hard time to the champions, helped by recovered captain Vitalii Bondar. Lokomotiv were unable to impose their game and were trailing 2-0 in sets.
But, Lokomotiv’s players showed to have big heart, made a turnaround and took the gold medal in the 25th Ukrainian Championship by prevailing in the tie-break.
