Kaposvár needed five games in the playoff finals and five sets in a decider, that lasted two hours and four minutes, to throw more experienced team of Pénzügyőr on its knees, 3-2 (25-23, 25-21, 21-25, 24-26, 15-11).
Kaposvár’s national title number 18, second in a row, will have a sweet taste to their players since it was achieved after 0-2 in series.
Zoltán Dávid topped the scorers of the winning team in Game 5 with 27 points. Szabolcs Szalai collected 21 for Pénzügyőr.
