Maritsa Plovdiv
Maritsa Plovdiv have won the 2016/17 Bulgarian Championship without losing a single game along the way! They won all 14 games in the regular season, then they defeated Kazanlak by 2-0 in the semifinal series, while finally the girls from Plovdiv outplayed Levski in the Playoffs Finals also by 2-0.
It is also worth mentioning that their overall set ratio in the 2016/17 season was 60:2!
This is the 3rd consecutive title for Maritsa Plovdiv and also the 3rd ever in club’s history.
