Lucia-Fresco
A 26-year-old Lucía Fresco committed herself to the Hungarian titleholders Békéscsabai after spending the season in Greece where she won a silver medal in the league while wearing the jersey of AON Pannaxiakos Naxos.
Fresco, the 2016 Rio Olympics participant, will have a difficult task to replace the Russian Irina Smirnova who highlighted last season and moved to Dinamo Krasnodar this summer.
The Argentine athlete will rejoin the coach Alberto Salomoni with whom she collaborated in German SC Potsdam from 2011 to 2014. Fresco will start to train with Békéscsabai in mid-October after finishing with the national team duties.
