The team from Maribor beat Calcit Volley in the finals in the city of Hoče by a 3-1 (25-17, 25-13, 20-25, 26-24) to win the fourth consecutive gold medal in the national Cup, 17th overall.
A 22-year-old Slovenian National Team opposite Iza Mlakar topped Branik with 23 points. Urška Igličar and Katja Mihalinec put down 12 points apiece for Calcit.
