CSKA-vs-Pirin
In Round 15 derby between the second and third-placed side, CSKA beat Pirin Razlog to stay at No.2 while their rivals handed over No.3 to Montana.
Despite playing without three starters due to their injuries, Ventsislav Georgiev, Ivan Krachev and Yani Georgiev, CSKA swept Pirin, who shared the lead in the standings with Neftohimik 2010 Burgas until three rounds ago and then made a 3-game losing streak, by a 3-0 (25-23, 25-20, 25-17).
A 19-year-old outside hitter Plamen Shekerdzhiev, who was put to play as an opposite because of the above-mentioned personnel problems, topped CSKA with 19 points, while Todor Kostov contributed with 5 kill blocks (10 points in total). In Pirin, Georgi Elchinov scored 11 points.
