The gap between the top three teams and the rest of Superliga remained huge after Round 15.
The defending champions Urbia Voley Palma had to react after losing the first set to C.V. Melilla, which they did, to remain undefeated with a 15-0 record. The Brazilian outside hitter Marcelo Hister topped Palma with 20 points. Daniel Macarro Tortajada made 5 kill blocks for the winning side.
C.V. Teruel kept spot No.2 with a quick win against playoff contenders F.C. Barcelona, who now fell to the fifth-place (the first four sides will advance to the playoffs). Augusto Renato Colito topped Teruel with 14 points.
Thanks to 19 points, 4 aces and 7 kill blocks from Borja Ruíz, the third-placed Unicaja Almería beat Río Duero Soria by a 3-1.
Ushuaïa Ibiza Voley benefited from the defeat of F.C. Barcelona. They settled at No.4 after surpassing Mediterráneo Castellón on the road by a 3-1. The Colombian outside hitter Héctor Salerno scored 16 points for Ibiza.
