Asterix Avo crushed VDK Gent Dames in straight sets (25-18, 25-16, 25-15) and started this stage of the competition as the real favorites.
On the other side, VC Oudegem outplayed Richa Michelbeke also in three sets but all three were tight (26-24, 25-21, 25-21).
