Kaposvar
The third-seed and also a defending champions Fino Kaposvár progressed to the 2017/18 NB I playoff semifinals. They won the quarterfinal series against No.6 MAFC-BME by a 2-0 as the prevailed in Game 2 on the road in four sets, partially 15-25, 25-23, 25-18, 25-18.
The captain Péter Nagy topped Kaposvár with 20 points. Szabolcs Tar scored 17 points for MAFC, including 5 aces. Balázs Bán contributed with 4 kill blocks.
