SVK M: Brazilian Marcílio makes 7 kill blocks, leading Prievidza to a step from winning title

The top-seed VK Prievidza prevailed against No.2 VKP Bystrina SPU Nitra in an exhausting Game 4 of the best-of-seven Extraliga 2017/2018 playoff finals by a 3-2 (25-18, 23-25, 22-25, 25-23, 15-11). Thus, Prievidza came to one win from claiming the national title and dethroning their rivals in the finals.

The Brazilian Marcílio Silva topped Prievidza with 27 points, in which he included 7 kill blocks! Peter Kašper scored 16 points for Nitra (72% attack, 13/18, blocked 3 times), while Juraj Zat’ko added 4 kill blocks.

Game 5 is scheduled for April 12.
