The team from Groningen, the top-seed, defeated No.2 Seesing Personeel Orion in a decisive Game 5 of the 2017/18 playoff finals by a 3-1 (25-22, 21-25, 25-22, 25-23), preventing the rivals to make a complete comeback in the series from 0-2 to 3-2.
