Bulgaria
Bulgaria started preparations for the World Championship with 21 players, a few days ago, but their head coach Plamen Konstantinov decided to add one more and compose a preliminary list for the tournament.
Bulgaria will play three friendly matches prior to the World Champs: vs. Russia (August 15-16), Belgium (August 25-26), and Egypt (September 2-3).

Opposites: Boyan Yordanov, Nikolay Uchikov, Danail Milushev, Miroslav Gradinarov
Outside hitters: Nikolay Penchev, Rozalin Penchev, Valentin Bratoev, Todor Skrimov, Dimitar Marinkov, Zlatan Yordanov
