VNL F6 W: Turkey make little revenge on China in front of rival’s crowd

On Day 1 in the Final Six, Turkey took revenge on China for losing a Preliminary Round match (3-0) and beat the Asian side in front of their crowd in Nanjing: 3-1 (25-22, 25-19, 22-25, 25-22). Without underrating Turkey’s victory today, China came to the Finals with a significantly changed roster compared to their previous encounter.

the Preliminary Round at the top of the charts with a 12-3 record, while Turkey claimed the spot No.5 in the ranking with an 11-4 record.

Gözde Yılmaz was Turkey’s most prolific players, scoring 18 points, while Kübra Çalışkan set up 5 kill blocks. Liu Yanhan tallied 21 points for China.
