The Poland National Team, the top seed in the knockout stage, won the Round of 16 match against the lowest seeded Tunisia at home in Gliwice in straight sets and progressed to the 1/4 finals of the World Championship 2022. In the next encounter, the Poles will play against the United States, who defeated Turkey 3-2.

Contrary to their next rivals in the event, the players of Nikola Grbić didn’t complicate things and avoided additional emotions in the match against obvious outsiders. Poland needed just over an hour to outplay the north African side, being led by Kamil Semeniuk (13 points) and Jakub Kochanowski (4 aces). Aymen Bouguerra top-scored Tunisia with 10 points.
