FIVB WCC W: Tianjin and Imoco Shine, Semis Set in Club World Championship

Tianjin Bohai Bank and Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano dominated the pool stage of the 2024 FIVB Women’s Club World Championship in Hangzhou, China, advancing to the semifinals without dropping a set.

Saturday’s Semifinals (21/12/2024):

Tianjin swept Brazil’s Gerdau Minas 3-0 to top Pool A, led by Li Yingying’s 22 points. Italian side Vero Volley Milan also advanced, finishing second in the group.

In Pool B, Imoco beat Japan’s NEC Red Rockets 3-0, powered by Isabelle Haak’s 17 points. Brazil’s Dentil Praia Clube secured the second spot, setting up a high-stakes clash with the hosts.

Tianjin and Imoco remain unbeaten favorites heading into the semis.
