Italy and Japan will clash in the grand final of the FIVB Women’s U21 World Championship in Surabaya, Indonesia, after both teams delivered dominant semifinal performances.

The Italian squad continued their flawless run with a commanding 3-0 victory over Brazil (25-16, 25-21, 25-19). From the very first serve, the Azzurrine imposed their rhythm, showcasing superior tactical play and attacking precision. Key contributions came from Teresa Bosso and Nicole Piomboni, who each scored 13 points, while captain Linda Manfredini added 10.
On the other side of the bracket, Japan proved too strong for Bulgaria, sweeping the semifinal in straight sets (25-17, 25-18, 25-13). The Japanese side displayed speed, consistency, and defensive resilience, never allowing their opponents to gain momentum.
Bulgaria will fight for bronze against Brazil.
