Czechia has celebrated a landmark victory, advancing to the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship quarterfinals for the first time in history.

In Pasay City, Czechia overpowered Tunisia in straight sets, 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-23), to secure its place among the last eight.
Opposite Patrik Indra led the scoreboard with 14 points. Teammates Jan Galabov and Lukas Vasina followed closely with 13 points apiece.
For Tunisia, Oussama Ben Romdhane and Ali Bongui skored 10 points each.
“We’re writing Czech volleyball history,” Galabov said with pride. “Dreams do come true, but our journey isn’t over yet.”
Czechia will now meet either Serbia or Iran on Thursday, with a coveted semifinal spot on the line.
