Türkiye won the 2026 Women’s Volleyball Nations League after defeating Brazil 3-1 in Sunday’s final in Macao.
After dropping the opening set, Türkiye responded strongly to secure a 23-25, 25-23, 26-24, 25-21 victory and lift the trophy for the second time, following their first triumph in 2023. Melissa Vargas led the champions with 33 points. Hande Baladın added 19, while İlkin Aydın contributed 15.
Ana Cristina with 25 points led Brazil, followed by Rosamaria Montibeller with 19 and Julia Bergmann with 15.
The match remained closely contested throughout, but Türkiye gained the upper hand after winning a tense third set and maintained their momentum in the fourth.
Brazil finished as runners-up for the fifth time and are still waiting for their first VNL title. Italy claimed the bronze medal after beating China 3-1 in the third-place match.
