Poland vs. Italy
The team of Ferdinando De Giorgi beat Italy in four sets 3-1 (21-25, 25-15, 25-18, 25-23).
Even though the world champions were down by one, they didn’t want to surrender. Even more, as of the second set, they played at a really high level which was a big problem for the home side.
In the fourth court, the crowd had an opportunity to watch an amazing game from both sides. Poland got the first match ball (24-23) and after a few moments, they won the 25th point for a big celebration of the Polish fans.
