“It was a great game – we enjoyed it very much. We had to choose between experienced and young players when we built the team. We believed in young players. We practice every day and work hard. We are not strong yet, but we try to be well skilled,” says Tillie.
“Dmitry Kovalev is injured and we did not want him to sacrifice and worsen his condition. We gave a chance to Pavel Pankov to get some practice. The team was nervous at the beginning of the match, but after a while, we stabilized the game. Without defeats there are no victories,” says Shylapnikov, the head coach of Russia.
