Russia were leading twice in sets but the U.S. team didn’t want to surrender and they somehow managed to make comeback and to win the game in tie-break 3-2 (23-25, 25-21, 19-25, 25-21, 15-9).
Kimberly Hill and Foluke Akindradewo were the best players in theUSA, finishing the match with 18 points each. On the other side, Nataliya Goncharova and Tatyana Kosheleva have scored 52 points combined – Nataliya 27, Tatyana 25.
USA now have 2-1 score, while Russia have one win and two defeats so far.
