CWCH M: Belchatow in semifinal; Sada Cruzeiro stayed in the race

In today’s match the Polish team defeated Personal Bolivar 3-1 (23-25, 25-15, 25-21, 25-19) in front of 3726 spectators in Atlas Arena in Lodz. They were better in spikes (46/39), blocks (13/5) and serve (8/3) but also in dig (31/16).

Srecko Lisinac and Bartosz Bednorz were the top scorer of the match with 17 points each while in the Argentinean team Theo Lopes added 16 points. 

Guerra & Leal

After the defeat from Lube, Sada Cruzeiro scored the first win on the tournament against Sarmayeh Bank 3-0 (25-23, 25-20, 25-22). They stayed alive in the race for a ticket to the semifinals but tomorrow, in the last match in Pool A, they will face the host team Zaksa and both will fight for the final stage.

Sada Cruzeiro coach Marcelo Mendez finished the game without a single substitution and Yoandy Leal led the Brazilian side with his 20 points, with Evandro Guerra adding another 15 to get Sada Cruzeiro back on track. Mirzajanpour scored 13 points for Sarmayeh.
