After competing in an inaugural edition of the CEV Golden European League last month with a rejuvenated squad, which was a result of an agreement between Slobodan Kovač and more experienced players as Slovenia head coach explained in an interview for our website, Slovenia will play the 2018 FIVB World Championship with all the best players at the moment. This means that Tine Urnaut, Mitja Gasparini, and several more players finished their break from volleyball.
A 16-year-old Rok Možič and Alen Djordjevič are debutants in the list which Kovač composed for the most important tournament this year.
