Nice Volley-Ball surprised Rennes Volley 35 and won the game 3-2. The team of Croatian coach Ratko Peris showed greater stability and concentration in the decisive moments and achieved a 3: 2 victory (20-25, 24-26, 27-25, 25-23, 16-14). Jolan Cox and David Mehic were the best scorers with 23 points each for Nice. Rafael Rodrigues de Araujo scored 30 points for Rennes.
SAEMS Tourcoing, a team led by their coach Igor Juricic achieved a victory at home against Stade Poitevin Volley-Beach 3-1 (30-28, 30-32, 25-19, 26-24). Ronald Jimenez led Tourcoing with 21 points scored. In Poitiers, Chizoba Eduardo neves Atu was the best scorer with 24 points.
In the third game of the day, Arago de Sete V.B. led by the coach Mladen Kasic was better than Montpellier-Volley U.C. and won 3-1 in Montpellier (20-25, 25-23, 25-18, 25-20). Vasyl Tupchii was Arago de Sete’s top scorer with 28 points. Montpellier’s top scorer was Ryan Sclater with 17 points.
