Russian coach has been sacked due to bad results in this season. It was a tough call, because Grebennikov led Rennes to some big successes including winning French Cup.

Shock therapy worked, as Rennes has beaten Chaumont with former assistant coach Olivier Bouvet at helm.

Results of the 18th round:

Beauvais – Montpellier 3-1 (23-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-19)

Rennes – Chaumont 3-2 (19-25, 31-29, 27-25, 19-25, 15-13)

Toulouse – Lyon 3-0 (25-21, 25-16, 25-19)
