FRA M: Marmara Spike League Round 7 – Tourcoing Triumphs as Top Contender, Montpellier Slips

Round 7 of the 2024/25 Marmara Spike League concluded on Saturday with Tourcoing taking the spotlight, defeating Montpellier 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 28-26) and climbing to first place. Tourcoing’s outside hitter Ignacio Luengas led with 20 points, supported by another Argentinian player in team, Pablo Koukartsev with 16. Montpellier’s opposite Dimitar Dimitrov matched Luengas with 20 points in a hard-fought but unsuccessful effort.

Cannes celebrated a 3-0 victory over Tours (25-22, 25-17, 25-19) with Reda Haikal scoring 17 points. In other results, Sète narrowly overcame Plessis-Robinson 3-2, Nice bested Poitiers 3-0 with Simon Hirsch tallying 24 points, and Chaumont defeated Saint Nazaire 3-0.
