Tourcoing’s outside hitter Ignacio Luengas led with 20 points, supported by another Argentinian player in team, Pablo Koukartsev with 16. Montpellier’s opposite Dimitar Dimitrov matched Luengas with 20 points in a hard-fought but unsuccessful effort.
Cannes celebrated a 3-0 victory over Tours (25-22, 25-17, 25-19) with Reda Haikal scoring 17 points. In other results, Sète narrowly overcame Plessis-Robinson 3-2, Nice bested Poitiers 3-0 with Simon Hirsch tallying 24 points, and Chaumont defeated Saint Nazaire 3-0.
