The 2024/25 Marmara Spike League’s Round 14 came to an electrifying end as Paris narrowly defeated Sète 3-2 in a rollercoaster match (18-25, 17-25, 25-22, 25-18, 13-15). Paris started strong, winning the first two sets with ease, but Sète roared back into the game behind a sensational performance from Tibo Rippert. Rippert lit up the court with 27 points (finish as match top scorer), including 3 aces and 2 blocks, nearly leading his team to an incredible comeback.
The decider was a nail-biter, but Paris managed to keep their cool. Shikun Peng delivered a standout performance with 21 points and an impressive 75% attack success rate, while Nik Mujanovic added 18 points (46% in attack) to secure the hard-fought victory.
