What a night in Tours! Tours Volley-Ball (TVB) claimed the Super Cup after a wild five-set battle against Tourcoing (18-25, 25-19, 25-16, 24-26, 19-17). But moments after the victory, head coach Mladen Kasic stunned everyone by announcing his departure on beIN Sports.

The 67-year-old Croatian had only joined the club in June. “It’s a personal decision, and we have to respect it,” said captain Zeljko Coric, who sealed the win with a final ace.

Kasic’s exit reportedly followed disagreements with the staff. His replacement — likely a former player familiar with the French league — is expected soon.

Despite the shock, Tours celebrates sixth Super Cup and 29th title overall, proving once again why it remains a powerhouse in French volleyball.
