Tours Volley-Ball has signed Bulgarian outside hitter Asparuh Asparuhov on a temporary deal to strengthen its roster ahead of the Ligue A playoffs.
The 25-year-old arrives from Ślepsk Malow Suwałki after a strong season, scoring 362 points, including 30 aces and 29 blocks. A 2025 world championship runner-up with Bulgaria, Asparuhov is expected to add firepower to Tours’ attack.
His signing comes as TVB looks to cover for injured attacker Landry Kavogo while maintaining its push for the French title. Suwałki confirmed the move is short-term, with Asparuhov set to return to the Polish club after the French playoffs and continue with the team for the 2026/27 season.
