Nantes survived a thriller against Mulhouse in front of the home crowd at St Joseph de Porterie hall (800 spectators) and remained unbeaten after 5 rounds in French Pro A League – 3-2 (25-19, 25-12, 23-25, 19-25, 15-10).

Nantes could note a victory much easier. They won first two sets in a superb way, leaving the opponent on 19 and 12 points!

But, Mulhouse, who is also near the top of the standings, woke up and won the third set on a point difference, while in the fourth, showed furious game and entered in the finish with 21-14.

It seemed that the guests spent all their strength to level up the score in sets and in tie-break, Nantes took the initiative and easily triumphed. Now, they are leaders on the table.

Most efficient in the home team were Marion Gauthier-Rat and Angie Bland, each with 15 points while in Mulhouse, the best scorers were Tatjana Bokan (15) and Alina Albu (14).
