Home team, despite being the huge underdog, was so close to the major surprise. Partizan Vizura was one set ahead 2-1, but that is not all. When RC Cannes managed to tie the score at 2-2, it looked like the tie-break will definitely belong to the Serbian squad. At the result of 7-7, two sides played perhaps one of the longest rallies in the game, and eventually Partizan Vizura won the point… And two more afterward for 10-7!
However, after a time-out, RC Cannes made a big comeback. Away team won five points in a row and from 7-10, came to the lead of 12-10! Such a strong team did not let itself to drop that advantage.
Tijana Bošković was the best player of the game without any doubt. Opposite of Partizan Vizura made 38 points, but it was not anough after all. In the French team, Logan Tom made 17 points.
