FRA W: Tillie terminates contract with Cannes, devoting himself only to French Men’s NT

Last summer Tillie has signed a two-year deal with multiple French Women’s champions Cannes, which was his first coaching engagement in Women’s volleyball but, as club announced on its website, it has been terminated.

“Cannes and Laurent Tillie consider that the coaching obligations of the (French) Men’s national team do not allow him sufficient availability to devote himself entirely to the LAF (French Women’s Championship) throughout the season. The two calendars are becoming more and more incompatible and both cannot be performed on a high level,” Cannes posted.

Recall that Cannes got eliminated in the Ligue A Féminine – Ligue Nationale de Volley playoff semifinals by ASPTT Mulhouse.
