Laurent Tillie, the head coach of France men’s volleyball national team, determined the squad that will fight for medals in the upcoming tournaments in 2018.

France national team started its preparations for the 2018 international season that includes the FIVB Nations League and the FIVB World Championship.

So far, due to the fact many players compete in the playoffs and several took few days off, only five players from Tillie’s 25-man preliminary list started preparations in Montpellier along with players who were summoned only to train.

The preliminary list of France for 2018:

SETTERS: Benjamin Toniutti (Zaksa/POL), Antoine Brizard (Warszawa/POL), Raphaël Corre (Cannes), Toafa Takaniko (Ajaccio)

OUTSIDE HITTERS: Earvin Ngapeth (Zenit Kazan/RUS), Trévor Clevenot (Piacenza/ITA), Julien Lyneel (Shanghai/CHN), Thibault Rossard (Resovia/POL), Kévin Tillie (Beijing/CHN), Yacine Louati (Chaumont), Luka Bašić (Toulouse)

OPPOSITES: Jean Patry (Montpellier), Stéphen Boyer (Chaumont), Timothée Carle (Ajaccio)
