VfB Friedrichshafen will have to search for the new head coach at the end of the season. This information is coming straight from the world champion, Vital Heynen.
“It’s important to say that I am not leaving the club to join another one. I want to win a medal with Poland at the Olympic Games and my goal is to devote myself completely to working with the Polish national team and I want to be fully focused on it,” says the 49-year old Belgian coach.
Heynen has been coaching Friedrichshafen three seasons in a row and he has three German Cups, three Super Cups and he was two-time vice-champion.
The fans are hoping he will leave the gold medal behind him…
