Schweriner started with a lead 8:4, soon after that it was 14:8, but then Potsdam made five consecutive points to make the set more interesting. In the end the host won 25:23 after 25 minutes.
It was a similar second set, the home team had a five point lead 20:15 but the guest managed to come near but lost 25:22.
The third set was all SC Potsdam. On the first tehnical time out it was 5:8 the guests kept the initiative to make it 16:24, and closed the set 20:25.
In the fourt Potsdam was leading 9:12, then Denisse Hanke took over to tie the score 12:12. After that there was no more pressure from Schweriner. Potsdam won the set 19:25.
In the decisive set, Potsdam was leading 8:12, Schweriner managed to tie 13:13 but that was all, Potsdam won 13:15 in the two team’s first playoff encounter
Lisa Thomsen and Lucia Fresco were the best players of the game.
