We have already announced transfer of Ssuschke-Voigt and what her coach, CEO and Corina herself have to say about it? Well here are the statements:
“I am really happy to be back in Dresden” she says. “I have been away for quite some time and just wanted to come back home. DRESDNER SC is one of the most professional and best organised clubs that I know, so I am sure that I will feel good here.”
DRESDNER SC head coach Alexander Waibl explains the reasons for that transfer: “Stefanie Karg and Juliane Langgemach, our current middle-blockers, are currently preparing for their respective exams as they will graduate from university and high-school respectively later this year. This means that our middle blockers are about to stand a very tough schedule. I am happy that we could finalize this transfer and that everyone agreed on that.”
The chairman of DRESDNER SC, Jörg Dittrich, is also happy with Corina’s comeback: “We are really excited. We also have to thank everyone who have turned this comeback to our city into reality.”
Ssuschke-Voigt will be wearing the jersey nr. 10. This is the first time that this number is assigned to a player of DRESDNER SC after Peggy Küttner ended her competitive career back in 2003. “It is a real honour for me” Ssuschke – who has totalled 248 caps with the national team – reveals.
