It will be third time in the last four years that these two clubs will battle for the trophy. Friedrichshafen was better in 2011, while BR Volleys celebrated last year.

Haching – Friedrichshafen 1-3 (17-25, 17-25, 25-20, 23-25). 1-3 in series
Earlier, BR Volleys eliminated Buhl with 3-0 in series
