With this win, Stuttgart advances to the finals of the German Championship, focusing on defending their title. In another semifinal match, the SC Potsdam faced a 1-3 home defeat against SSC Palmberg Schwerin, ending their season in third place. Despite taking the third set, Potsdam couldn’t overcome Schwerin’s strength in the other sets.
