Defending champions Allianz MTV Stuttgart secured a commanding 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 26-24) victory over Dresdner SC in the German Women’s Bundesliga. In front of 1,934 spectators at SCHARRena, Stuttgart showcased their dominance, significantly reducing third-placed Dresden’s chances of claiming the top spot.
Head coach Alexander Waibl admitted Stuttgart’s superiority: “They were better in every aspect. We struggled with reception and defense, while they controlled every ball.”

Stuttgart’s setter Pia Kästner earned MVP honors, while Dresden’s Marta Levinska, the team’s top scorer with 12 points, received silver. Despite a strong third set where Dresden led 22-19, Stuttgart, driven by Stuttgart star player Krystal Rivers (21 points), sealed the win in 81 minutes.
