SVG Lüneburg thrilled 3,150 fans in the LKH Arena with a commanding 3–0 (26:24, 25:14, 25:19) victory over VfB Friedrichshafen. The win — their fifth in a row — briefly lifted them to the top of the Volleyball Bundesliga.

After a tight first set, sealed 26-24 by Daniel Gruvaeus, Lüneburg found their rhythm. Setter Santeri Välimaa led with energy, while Jackson Howe dominated at the net and from the serve line. With two aces and strong teamwork, SVG ran away with the second set 25-14 and never looked back.
“We kept our serve pressure high,” said coach Stefan Hübner. “That stopped them from gaining momentum.” Välimaa was named MVP, and Christopher Byam topped the scoresheet with 14 points.
Friedrichshafen coach Adam Swaczyna admitted, “We had chances early, but Lüneburg served too well. They deserved the win.”
