Driven by strong support from the stands, Schwerin grew into the match after a tight opening set. Both teams applied heavy pressure from the service line early on, but the hosts showed greater composure when it mattered most. Led by Anne Hölzig and Anna Artyshuk, Schwerin edged a hard-fought first set 25–22 to seize control of the encounter.

The second set saw the home side raise their level significantly. Strong serving, disciplined defense, and a more efficient attack quickly put Münster on the back foot. Schwerin dominated the rally play, opening an early lead and never allowing the visitors back into contention, closing the set comfortably at 25–16.

Carrying that momentum forward, Schwerin started the third set aggressively. Although Münster briefly threatened a comeback with a late run, the hosts kept their nerve in the decisive moments. Timely attacks from Jet Kok and a block from setter Vedrana Jaksetic sealed the set 25–22 and confirmed a straight-sets victory.
