GER M: Berlin spoil the party in Lüneburg thriller

A sold-out LKH Arena and 3,200 fans set the stage for a volleyball night to remember as SVG Lüneburg hosted the Berlin Recycling Volleys in a top-of-the-table Bundesliga clash. The atmosphere was electric, the rallies were fierce, and in the end, Berlin showed their champion’s edge.

After dropping a dramatic first set 26–28, the visitors stayed calm and gradually took control, winning the next three sets 25–22, 25–21 and 25–23 to secure a 3–1 road victory. The match lasted more than two hours and swung back and forth until the very last points.

Former Lüneburg player Florian Krage-Brewitz made a big impact against his old club and was named MVP, while Christopher Byam led the hosts with 19 points. Berlin’s Jake Hanes answered with 18 of his own.
