GER W: Schwerin Battles Past Wiesbaden, Suhl Sweeps Hamburg

SSC Palmberg Schwerin earned a tough 3–1 road win over VC Wiesbaden, while VfB Suhl LOTTO Thüringen continued their strong run with a convincing 3–0 victory against ETV Hamburger Volksbank Volleys in the Volleyball Bundesliga.

Schwerin had to work hard in Wiesbaden, eventually taking the match 27:25, 25:19, 22:25, 25:13 after an intense contest. The first set set the tone for the night, with both teams trading points before Schwerin edged it late at 27–25.

The visitors carried that momentum into the second set, winning 25–19, but Wiesbaden responded in the third with a 25–22 set victory to keep the match alive. Schwerin then dominated the fourth set, pulling away with a long scoring run and closing the match comfortably 25–13. With this win, SSC Palmberg Schwerin remains in second place, while Wiesbaden is currently sixth in the Bundesliga.

Meanwhile in Hamburg, VfB Suhl LOTTO Thüringen defeated ETV Hamburger Volksbank Volleys 3–0 (25:19, 25:12, 25:14) at the CU Arena.

Hamburg started competitively and briefly led in the first set, but Suhl quickly found their rhythm and controlled the rest of the match. With the result, Suhl stays third in the standings, while Hamburg remains bottom of the table with five points from 19 matches.
