The Berlin club sealed the title with a 25-19, 25-22, 22-25, 25-12 victory in front of a packed crowd at the LKH Arena, completing a 3-0 sweep in the best-of-five series and capturing the 16th German championship in club history.

Jake Hanes played a key role in the triumph as Berlin controlled much of the contest. Lüneburg managed to extend the match by taking the third set, but the visitors responded strongly in the fourth to finish the job in convincing fashion.

Head coach Markus Steuerwald praised his players’ belief and unity after the win, while captain Ruben Schott described the latest title as one of the team’s hardest-earned successes.

Lüneburg coach Stefan Hübner credited Berlin’s serving pressure as the decisive factor across the series despite his team’s spirited effort.
