This time Germany wants to take participation at the European Games, which will take place on June 12-28 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

German Volleyball Federation thought it would be much easier way to score points in the European rankings – important in the context of the fight for the Olympic Games 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Moreover, in Germany, no television station has the rights to broadcast the World League. In contrast, Sport1 will transmit the first European Games in the history.
