The game in Germany was a real volleyball thriller. Friedrichshafen had the lead twice, but Resovia both times managed to return to this game and to eventually take this match into the tie-break!
There, home team had a flying start by taking the first three points, but the score was leveled up really soon. In the point for point game, Friedrichshafen had the first match ball at 14:13. However, it was time for the third and the final comeback by Asseco Resovia on this game!
Away side saved the match ball and tied the score at 14:14, while then visitors took the next point as well – 15:14! Squad of Andrzej Kowal failed to convert the first match ball into win, but did not miss the second opportunity. Resovia formed a strong block, and it seemed that Jochen Shops made the final touch… The ball bounced into the Friedrichshafen’s side of the court.
